Part D
Prescription Drug Coverage
Prescription drug coverage (also called Medicare Part D) is not included in Original Medicare, but there are several options to add it onto the coverage you already have.

Before selecting a prescription drug plan, first consider the coverage of the drug plan you may already have with your employer, a union, or your current Medicare Supplement policy. Compare this coverage to Medicare drug coverage. Your current coverage may also change if you should choose to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan. Contact one of our Medicare specialists with any questions you may have.
One of the most common ways to get coverage for your prescriptions is to join a Medicare Advantage plan. If you already have one, you may need to switch to one that includes drug coverage. If you enroll in Part D, you might lose your current Medicare Advantage plan. Click below to compare plans or learn more about your medicare options.

You can join a separate Medicare Part D Plan without losing your coverage if you are enrolled in any of these plans:
Private Fee-for-Service Plan
Medical Savings Account Plan
Cost Plan
Certain employer-sponsored Medicare health plans
